Getting ready for work and performing daily rituals can result in an overall feeling of boredom, and restlessness; which can adversely affect your professional performance and therefore your productivity at work.

Although many companies provide a suitable environment for employees, giving them additional incentives, breaking the morning routine remains essential to keep your spirit up.

How do you get rid of the daily routine and stress of the early morning? And how to start your day energetically?

Here are some steps that will help you wake up motivated and stay positive all day:


Get enough sleep:

There is no doubt that sleep is one of the factors with significant impact on the ability of the brain to maintain its energy to the fullest. You should sleep at least 6-8 hours a night, and that would be enough for you to wake up the next day with  sufficient energy to go about your day. You need to create the right atmosphere for a comfortable sleep. Most studies conducted on sleep indicated that sleeping enough hours preserve the brain's health and increases the ability to deal with the exterior environment effectively. This will also reflect positively on your general performance and wellbeing.

Workout in the morning:

Things that you can do in the morning to get rid of laziness include a simple exercise, which helps you recharge and begin your day. Don’t perform sweaty sports that require physical effort, but some light activities such as walking or jogging for a period not exceeding 15 minutes. Morning cardio is one great way to increase energy levels and invigorate the blood flow.

Give yourself some "Me" time:

Yes, 10 minutes could change your mood in the morning!! Sip a cup of coffee, listen to some music, or read some newspaper or magazines. Meditating for some time can also be amazing to give you your morning boost.

Have a "real" breakfast:

Make sure you give yourself the time to have a nutritious breakfast. After all, it is the most important meal of the day!!  You can also help in preparing the breakfast, this is yet another activity added to the sum of activities that you can do to brighten up your morning.

Style up yourself:

Appearance is one of the most important factors that give you a sense of confidence at work. Choose the appropriate colors for you and the type of clothes you feel comfortable in while working. Style up and add some glamour to break the daily routine and give yourself an extra confidence boost.

Think positively:

Don't set barriers or preconceptions about your day, especially if you are working in a job where you spend most of your time dealing with others. Think positively and that will reflect
