Coffee... With a Twist
Listen up all you coffee lovers out there, this one is for you. Are you bored of that regular cup of coffee you have everyday? Do you want to spice things up and try something new? Then fret no more, because we have some ideas on how to make your coffee taste that much better!
A Spoon Full of Spreads: Ever considered putting some nutella in your coffee? Well, you should! The chocolate spread along with your hot drink of caffeine is truly something you should experience.
You can even try something as simple as adding a spoonful of peanut butter in your mug and it will change your whole coffee-drinking experience.
Oreos: If you want a little crunch with that coffee of yours then try sprinkling some crushed oreos on top of it. If you happen to be a true coffee lover, opt for those yummy coffee-flavored oreos. Those small crumbs can go a long way with your drink.
Whipped Cream: You can also add rainbow-colored sprinkles, or even the aforementioned oreo crumbs, on the whipped cream that tops your mug. Whether it’s sprinkles, cookies, or chocolate syrup, whipped cream seems to go with everything.
Marshmallows: Whoever said that marshmallows are only placed on top of hot chocolate? Cut up some marshmallows and decorate your coffee mug with them! A nice decoration, but an even better taste!
Flavored Coffee: Don’t be afraid to change your coffee and try some flavored coffee beans. The flavors are many: hazelnut, chocolate, caramel, banana… All you have to do is try them!
Iced Coffee: This tip is great for the summer. Pour some coffee into your ice cube tray and place it in the freezer. When the cubes are solid, grab a couple and place them in a mug. Add some liquid coffee (not too hot) on top of them and you’ll have a nice homemade cup of iced coffee.
Rose Water: Rose water and coffee are quite a flavorful mix and the Arabs apparently figured that out! If you search it online, this type of coffee seems to be an Arabic specialty.
Vanilla Extract: Vanilla is a great substitute for sugar. You don’t have to give up the sweetness of your morning cup of joe just because you are cutting back on your sugar.
Chocolate: Whether it is white, dark, or light, we don’t discriminate! Chocolate is chocolate and if we have it in our coffee then that is enough for us.
Cinnamon: A dash of cinnamon and your coffee is not the same anymore. Try it out and see if this hack is your new go to coffee-making necessity.
Changing your coffee doesn’t only mean changing its taste, but changing its aesthetics as well. Change the glass you have your coffee in. Don’t use the same mug you’ve been using for the last 5 years. Consider trying different glasses with different shapes and sizes, maybe even try out one of those Mason drinking glass jars and have your drink out of a jar for a change.
Try using some colored straws of different shapes. Who said your coffee needs to be boring?
Most of these hacks aren’t very complicated and don’t need much time and effort, so get on them and get creative!
